We are a Travel and Tourism Information Centre and need volunteers to meet and greet our customers with a smile! If you would like to help us because you are retired with some spare time or you are just starting out and would like to gain work experience in Tourism and skills to add to your CV ….. we would love to meet you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Meet and greet visitors upon arrival
  • Support staff and the Centre manager in a variety of tasks
  • Some Retail and promotional activities.

Requirements:

  • Some computer knowledge would be good but is not essential.
  • You need to have a good standard of conversational and written English.
  • It would be good if you are a people's person and love to meet people from New Zealand and around the world and share your experiences and travel with them.
  • Someone who is organized and reliable would be good for this role. You need to be trustworthy and be able to work with a high level of confidentiality.

Time commitment:

We require volunteers from 10am to 1pm on Monday mornings and Wednesday mornings.
