New Zealand Red Cross is looking for people who are willing and able to help in their local Red Cross Shop in Taupō. If you love helping others and enjoy being part of a friendly and supportive team, we’d be delighted to hear from you.

Volunteering in our shops is also one of the best ways to get work experience in the retail industry. In fact, volunteering for at least 3 months can help you get your certificate in Retail from Service IQ. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your skills, meet amazing people, learn new things, and help your community all at the same time.

Requirements:

You need good communication skills and must have a sense of humour. We are seeking someone with a mature mindset who can assist people from all walks of life. It is essential that you are reliable and trustworthy and able to commit to a regular slot on our volunteer roster - which has flexibility.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

This is flexible and can be discussed.
Monday to Sunday; morning and afternoon shifts available.
