Hope Rising Farm is a charity in Ngaruawahia that runs well-being programmes for vulnerable youth and women.
We are looking for gardening and planting people who don’t mind being muddy.
Weeding paddocks, weed eating, fruit tree pruning, planting trees, and eventually in the future planting flowers, weeding flower beds and pots.
• Hands on person
• Good communicator
• Can follow instruction
• Love gardening and being outside
• Own transport as the farm is outside of Hamilton
A Police background check is required for this role.
Applicants for this role are required to give this organisation permission to check their criminal conviction history with the Police.
Reason a check is needed:
We have vulnerable youth and women on the property and we have a Health & Safety Policy that requires all volunteers and staff to have a police check.
