As a volunteer, you will:
During the school term, our GGNZ leaders:
No experience is needed, but we need reliable volunteers, and previous experience working with youth is an advantage.
GirlGuiding New Zealand's health and safety policy also has requirements around adult-to-child ratios, so we require you to be older than 18.
A Police background check is required for this role.
Applicants for this role are required to give this organisation permission to check their criminal conviction history with the Police.

We are currently recruiting for Leader in two unit which are:
6th Matamata Rangers - Meets Tuesday's 5:15 - 7pm during school term time
Matamata Brownies - Meets Monday's 4 - 5:30pm during school term time
Aside from weekly meetings there is the occasional event or camp held on weekends and some planning time is required, so you can expect to spend between 2-4 hours per week volunteering.
We also require a minimum six month commitment.
