Our organisation provides and delivers supportive education programmes for Pasifika children in our community.
This role requires you to facilitate Mathematics and English lessons using resources provided by us that align to the school curriculum – Kaukauola Study Programme.
You will work with a group of 3 to 4 children, aged 4 to 12. Our classes take place on Tuesday evening from 6.00 – 8.00 pm.
We have a diverse team of volunteers who are very supportive of each other and work well together to achieve awesome outcomes for our students. Everyone comes together for a meal at the end of the session.
After School Programme Facilitators
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children in an educational environment is preferable. Knowledge of the NZ curriculum at kindergarten, primary or senior level is an advantage.
You need to be honest, friendly, comfortable working with youth and children.
We are looking for someone who is non-judgmental and able to keep confidentiality.
An induction is provided to our venue including health and safety.
We will support you to do your role well.
