Our mobility van drivers pick people up from their homes and transport them to appointments and activities. There is an increasing need for this service in our community and we are looking to expand our driving team. You’ll meet lots of wonderful people and get a real sense of making a much appreciated contribution to keeping them active and connected.
We’ll give you all the health and safety pointers and support you need to provide this service in the best way possible.
Community Van Driver
Requirements:
You need to be friendly, with lots of common sense and patience.
A good listener who can work respectfully with all members of our community is needed for this role.
You must have a full, clean drivers licence, be ready to be police vetted and have a genuine interest in helping others.
A Police background check is required for this role.
Background Check
Applicants for this role are required to give this organisation permission to check their criminal conviction history with the Police.
Reason a check is needed:
This helps keep you and the people you transport, safe.
Time commitment:
Ideally you are available Monday to Friday on a rotational roster to drive the van.
