What You’ll Do:

  • Be a Support Star: Help our youth take part in activities they’ll never forget, from luge riding, bowling, and rock climbing to enjoying movies, sports games, and tourist attractions like Hobbiton and boat cruises!
  • Explore Incredible Locations: Stay in amazing places like Rotorua, Taupo, Raglan, Whangamata, and Waihi Beach, where the fun never stops.
  • Get Hands-On: Lend a hand with cooking, dishes, bed-making, and packing. Your encouragement will help these kids shine and reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Experience Required: Familiarity with supporting people with intellectual disabilities is essential for our overnight programmes.
  • Positive Vibes Only: Bring your positive, outgoing attitude to help create a fun, engaging, and supportive environment for our young adventurers.
  • Adventure Awaits: Be ready to explore some of New Zealand's coolest spots while helping participants challenge themselves socially and physically.
  • Versatile Support: You’ll assist in various settings and with individuals of all abilities—every day is a new and rewarding experience!
  • Convenient Start: All programmes leave from Hamilton CBD, and we’ve got your transport covered. Just show up and be ready for adventure!

Time commitment:

  • Overnight Adventures: Choose from 3-5 day programmes tailored to different adventure levels:
  • Short Breaks: Perfect for a relaxed weekend getaway to unwind and recharge.
  • Getaways: Packed with fun activities to keep you energized.
  • Camps: Action-filled and adventure-packed for those seeking a thrill!
  • Flexible Scheduling: Pick the programmes that match your interests and fit your calendar.
  • Regular Opportunities: We run 2-3 overnight programmes each school term—we’d love for you to join us for at least one (or more if you’re up for it!).
  • Day Programmes: If overnight trips aren’t your thing, our day programmes based in Hamilton are another fantastic way to get involved.
