Homework & Mentoring Tutor – Church-Based Youth Program
We are a welcoming, church-based community running a Homework and Mentoring program for children and young people from early childhood through to high school. Our program runs fortnightly during the school term, on Wednesday evenings from 6:00–8:30pm.
As a tutor, you will support students primarily in Maths and Science, helping them with their homework, understanding challenging concepts, and building confidence in these subjects. Beyond academics, you’ll provide encouragement, guidance, and positive role modeling in a safe, friendly environment. You’ll be supporting children and teens of various ages, from early childhood to high school
Your role:
- Assist students with Maths and Science homework
- Explain concepts in ways that make sense to each child
- Encourage independent thinking, problem-solving, and curiosity
- Provide mentorship and support in learning
If you enjoy teaching or mentoring young people and have a passion for Maths and Science, this is a rewarding way to give back to the community and make a real difference in a child’s learning journey.
