Join Us in Making a Difference – Conservation Weeding

If you enjoy hands-on work and being outdoors, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
We’re seeking volunteers who can dedicate half a day every fortnight to help with this rewarding conservation project:

Weeding Warriors – Roll up your sleeves and remove woolly nightshade and other invasive weeds, ensuring our grounds stay vibrant and healthy.

Our current volunteers have found this work surprisingly rewarding — they’ve shared how much they enjoy coming together, getting outdoors, and seeing the real difference they’re making.

Requirements:

  • Fit, agile, and ready to embrace a hands-on challenge.
  • Bring your energy and a positive attitude
  • Wear sturdy footwear for safety and comfort
  • We’ll provide all the necessary equipment – gloves, tools, and everything else you’ll need

Time commitment:

  • Availability – Half a day every second Monday.
  • Time commitment – Approximately 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
