Blind Low Vision NZ

Help make a difference to the lives of New Zealanders who are blind or have low vision by becoming a Blind Foundation Volunteer.

The Blind Foundation has lots of activities and projects which need your help right now. Whether you want to get involved, weekly, monthly or occasionally, there will be a volunteer opportunity for you. Opportunities include but are not limited to – readers, walkers, drivers and home visitors.

However you choose to help, you will be making a world of difference!

Hang out with a young member with low vision in Cambridge! Go for bike rides, try hobbies, play D&D, or just chat. Flexible, short-term, and a fun way to meet someone new and explore the town.

Support a young member with vision and hearing loss on their regular walks. Enjoy fresh air, good conversation, and companionship. Flexible schedule, ideally long-term, perfect for volunteers who love walking and sharing their time outdoors.
